So it's 9:51 and I'm still at work... I've worked 38 hours so far this week. And yes, Tom has already told me I can't do this when we get married. Anyway, I'm still here because a buch of us minor geeks are getting together in the Three Acre parking lot to check out Mars tonight, and my dad actually agreed to come! We probalby won't stay very late, but it will be fun ... I hope. I'm insanely tired. Work is really draining, but at least everything with Tom is making sense again. Hopefully this whole 40 Days last minute rush will end ... eventually. I guess I'd better go downstairs and let my dad in the building...

So I guess I should post again. So much has happened! From most exciting to least.... I'm getting married. (Maybe) More to come. I'm going to Washington D.C. (For free!). And since it's for Merrill, and not PD, I don't have to work while I'm there.... Smithsonian, here I come I've been selected to go to Lynchburg, VA for PD's first ever Super Conference, which is basically every conference we do all year (approx. 12) smushed into four glorious days. It was more exciting when it was going to be my first trip to the east coast, but DC (september) comes before lynchburg (october). Registration for 40 Days of Purpose for Fall 2003 officially closed last Friday. Leaving me to basically work damage control. Which is only good because now I only get the really mad people... which is good .... um... because I don't have to take calls all day.... although I do have to answer about 200 e-mails every day. I'm seriously considering moving out of my dad's, although I haven't spoken with him yet. The lady that I house-sat for earlier this summer just bought a new house and is going to rent out the extra room. She asked if I was interested today, and it makes me think b/c I've actually been thinking about it for a while. The only problem there is Tom, and I'm not sure just how that would work. Still, it would be closer to both school and work, saving me about $50 a month in gas... maybe more. Average guess at my age by people I work with: 24 My Great Grandma is still in a care-facility in Delta (she broke her hip and has subsequently had two blood transfusions and developed a growth in her stomach (cancerous?). Since Suz is taking off all of next week, and I am going to DC the week after, the soonest I can go out and see her is the weel of the 7th or the 14th. After that I have to start school. That really bothers me... I'm in the process of trying to get the CCFX at UCI to go through 40 DOP. Haven't heard anything back from them.... Maybe I should try again.... Tom drove back to his dad's today. Which isn't really exciting..... I'm really sunburnt and it really hurts. Which isn't exciting either. So I guess I'm out of exciting news. Talk to you all later.....
